Column Guards

Column Guards are used to reduce the potential damage to pallet racking systems caused by forklift operations. The protectors are designed in several different styles to best suit all types of pallet racking applications.

The Column Guard stands immediately in front of an upright and its function is to provide a degree of resistance from impact damage by fork lift trucks to the bottom 360 mm of the upright. Bright and distinctive, each Column Guard is powder coated and painted in Safety Orange to be a visual reminder to forklift operators to steer clear of the racks. It is secured to the concrete floor using standard floor fixings.

Rack damage is a problem in almost every warehouse and it is strongly recommended that all Column Guards are immediately replaced if damaged.
